from cr14 to cr3 is 'upper brush creek'. Make sure to take out at the state park picnic pavillion unless you want the more extreme run. The upper stretch continues to build as you go through an occasional class II, then continous class II, which turns into class III, which leads to an abrupt horizon line- Brillo Falls (more a slide) . Hard to scout this one- due to cliffs and heavy foliage. We ran it blind (in the center) and found a good line as we slid down. I consider Brillo falls to be a class IV drop with its blind entry. The remainder of the run is pretty continous and class III down to the state access. Upper brush is a step up from camp or paint creek for the intermediate paddler.
