North Platte

Ran this in packrafts from the Routt put-in to Pickaroon Campground over two days, 6/19/26-6/20/26 at flows around 250 cfs. We made it, but it was slow going with lots and lots (and lots!) of rock dodging and a little bit of boat walking. Would be impossible in anything bigger or more draft. Still fun and beautiful. Took us six hours to do 10 miles on day one. Great for practicing your technical boat control skills. Narrow Falls was even narrower and required a very specific line to dodge rocks in the middle of the falls. Shout out to Alpacka for making boats that can withstand this level of abuse.
