4. Patterson Bend (Kerckhoff Reservoir to Kerchoff #1 PH)
Past the hump you drop into a tight folding flow that has often given me a tail stand as it shoots you left. There is more room to the left than is visible. Eric got pushed to the left in front of the hump and rolled over. You can scout this exit better, by climbing a big boulder at its far left end.
