0.9 Dries: Harmon Den to Big Creek


This is after Chinese Arithmetic, where the riverbed is buried beneath 10-13 feet of road rock. You can see how NCDOT pulled the rock out of the left half river to form their haul road on the right half of the river. It seems likely that this bedrock exposure is what we can expect for the second half of the run. It will be a bummer to almost certainly lose a lot of native rocks too, but is likely worth it to unbury the river.
