A group did this run 7/26/2026. The flow rate was listed as 314, which is slightly above runnable. We encountered numerous areas of very shallow rocks with no runnable line. In many cases we would walk the kayaks. Even where a path could be found, it was difficult - even for very experienced kayakers.
We would classify the flow rate of 314 as below runnable. It is clear that Hurricane Helene has widened the river to the extent that the old readings no longer apply.
It is hard to say what would be runnable, but my guess would be at least 600 and perhaps much higher.
