We ran this creek Saturday the 4th of April 2009. After a 35 minute hike up the river right side on the marked trail we put on in flat water. Within a minute we were scouting the first rapids. Every drop is very runnable and very fun. They are all slides. There is wood in here and scouting is a must. we had to walk an easily runnableV- drop because of wood in the bottom hole. It was doable but because there was only two of us it would not be a wise decision, so we walked. After this there was an amazing 4 drop continuous section that probably drops 100 feet in 50 yards. If there was not so much snow we would have walked to do it again. After this the river is just a continous 3-4 fun bomb run wirh trees to practice your slalom skills. Having only read Deniis's guide book we were a bit reluctant to hike in and do it. But besides the amount of wood in the 3-4 sections which caused a bit of stress and a constant attention..it was a fun worthwhile run if you add another creek or two into your day.
