Took a large group of 9 'not recomended' after Ivans flood. I noticed a few changes. When coming to the first island a very bad strainer mess has piled up on the left side of the island. It can be avoided to the right. A few new boulders have fell into the stream bed and the second island was completly removed. I think the best way to internet gauge anything in the Cohuttas is going to be with the usgs Mill creek near Crandall AW#8361. Haven't got it dialed in yet with corelations but around 2.5ft is showing good signs of water in the Cohuttas. The Holly gauge is to far down stream and so is the Conasauga near Eton. Post anything you can from Mill creek gauge untill we get it dialed in. Also I have a Stick gauge where the old elbow gauge was. Its located river left 20ft upstream from the elbow. 1.8 is a minimum and is .6in on the Old Hwy 2 bridge gauge. If its under water its high. Little Rough creek has been paddled into the UU Conasauga. Also Thomas creek has been ran by carrying up a faint roadbed from the Conasauga.
