Red Cedar

The river was a little high for good play, but you could still catch a wave.  There is a large tree on river left, which as I recall has been there for a year or two.  Doesn't seem to be a hazard, other than it's affect on stream flow.  But, on river right, MSU had set up a ropr barricade and half of the barricade is under water on river left in the eddy, at least 100 ft of rope.  That needs to be cut out; I didn't have a knife with me.

The sun was out and tempatures in the 40's.  Not too bad if you were dressed for it.  All in all, a good first paddle for the year.
