Little Kanawha River

The stream gauge 03151400 is 4 miles upstream from the Falls. The water level is wrong as I was just there and it is in a bend on the river in a deeper hole but even at that there was only 6-8' of water while the gauge reading is 3.04 feet. The gauge is LAT 38-44-36 Long 80 31 32 I do have a picture of the gauge. The river there looks really good to run if there was water. There is a good place to put in and a pull off place for 3 SUV's by the gauge. The Falls dump into the Lake and there is easy take out there both above the Falls and below Falls Lat 38 46 47 long 80 33 00. My guess is that the reading is on the out flow of the dam. I will be returning on Oct. 12 to find it.
