White Salmon
5 - Northwestern Park to Columbia River(Lower Gorge or Bottom)
Condit Dam on the White Salmon is an outdated dam scheduled for removal. Modernizing and repairing the dam to meet current safety and environmental standards would cost more than removal. AW joined a coalition of groups and signed a Settlement with the dam's owner, PacificCorp, and other parties outlining a plan for dam removal that will restore this river and its historic salmon runs.
