Augusta Canal Overflow

I was there Sat 8/15/2009 and it was very fast with a lot of flow. Then I went on Monday 8/17 at lunch and it was a trickle...almost totally dry. Any info as to whether it is only dependent on rainfall or if there are release times would be great. Email me at 77fj@comcast.net. -Andy
