After the ledge you have some boogie water until the third drop. The drop usually has a hole good enough to surf. It is not the best by any means but for us locals it is all we have. There is a rock on river left that has fallen in and made a little cave about the size of your bow. You can see this cave when surfing. It's not facing up or down stream so it's not a major threat. At low water you could meet our friend Sally. Sally is a rock right after the hole that likes helmets. She usually shows up at low to medium water. At high water a strainer forms on river left and should be avoided. Around 187 cfs you can throw down some ends. The hole is not to sticky. The hole has a good eddy line at any water level.
