Little 3 (Putnam County)

The put in and take out markers on the map are strangely placed and do not correspond to the 3 mile distance on the RiverMain page.

The best run on the Little can be had by putting in at Glade Road and taking out at hwy 16. There are only a few rapids in the first miles, but then after a still section, there is a long series of class 2++ rapids. I recommend waiting for at least 300 cfs on the gauge, preferably more, because the gauge is down at the end of the run. I hope to add the Glade-to-hwy 16 run to the AW list. I have already published a detailed description in the GCA newsletter.

Also, I would not bother with the next section below hwy 16. It is full of sand and trees and has no rapids.
