Malad (aka Big Wood)

From reports Idaho power was working on the damns this fall. We typically seperate this run into two sections the upper and the lower. The upper being between the two dams and the lower from the lower dam to the confluance with the snake. So this fall the upper section had about 1000+/- running and the lower had close to 600+/- in it. This is one of the first times I have seen the entire section runnable. Run the upper section, portage around the dam and put back in for the lower section. You could run as many laps as you wanted at these flows. Here is a link for a Video I took on this section.
