Broad Creek

This creek flows through the Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation, which is owned by the Baltimore Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. They have dammed it to create a lake about 3/4 mile long. There are camps held there throughout the summer and on various other weekends, and the scouts go swimming and paddling on the lake. Before you paddle this, you might want to call 443-573-2500 to find out whether the Boy Scouts have any objections.
