This picture shows several of the Class V+ drops in the Great Falls complex on the Maryland side of the river. Pummel is in the upper right and Pencil Sharpener and Z-Turn in the lower right. Perhaps most notable is Charlie's Hole in the bottom left. This spot is dangerous and is the only spot where a whitewater boater purposely running the falls has been killed.
