Obed Junction Access/Trailhead

A new NPS managed parking area has been built off Potters Chapel Road. Park here, carry out the back of the lot and down a short mud hill to the old road. Turn right and carry half a mile and 300 vertical feet down a the old road to the river. The road skirts private property once at the river, don't loiter. It is possible to drive a compact 4wd high clearance vehicle down this road, but it takes longer to shuttle this short stretch than to just walk down with your boat.
