House on river-right, warning that hard section is close

A house very near the river on river-right provides a good 'way marker', indicating you are nearing the 3-mile mark on this run.

Below the house the river will soon swing sharply right (east), and again left (northwest). Right after, the river enters Gould's Bend proper, which immediately kicks off with The Esses, the biggest rapid.
