The Esses
Description
Here the river cuts through a tricky entrance feature before sluicing in between several undercuts on each side of the river. The preferred line is to not touch any of the rocks and make several tight turns. Depending on the level, a fast, direct approach is preferred, or a line utilizing a few eddies to break it up. Either way, it's a tricky one! Portaging is easier on the right, but scouting better on the left.
