Bearcamp Dam

Just downstream from the gorge lies the removed remains of the Bearcamp dam. This dam has been removed by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.  It is now a Class II drop.  This photograph of a paddler going over the old dam has been kept for historical reference.
