DESCRIPTION:During the federal hydropower relicensing process\, American Whitewater negotiated annual fall releases from PG&E’s Poe Dam to provide whitewater recreation opportunities on the North Fork Feather River’s Poe Reach. In 2026\, these releases will be on October 10-11 and October 24-25. \nThe Poe Run is the lowermost run on the North Fork Feather. This seven-mile-long reach comprises two distinctly different runs: Poe Canyon (IV/V) and Bardees Bar (III/IV).
