Two minutes from the Chatham exit off the Taconic, this run is a treat! Elect to put in at the mill pond and paddle the two drops and then under the factory building, or access the river from the foot trail off River Rd which puts you above For Tony.
The next large drop is unrunnable and must be portaged on river left. Once back on the river enjoy a tight, steep boulder garden to the confluence with Kinderhook Creek, which heads to Valatie. Alternately take-outs are at Crellin Park, Highbridge Rd and White Mills Rd.

There are two shallow drops along the factory building which can be run at high flow. After the second drop the river turns right and goes under the building, emerging on the other side. in the pool above For Tony
A 35ft drop. Enter on the right, punch the diagonal, and follow the flume. Beware of the hole below which forms at high water.
Unrunnable dam. Be sure to eddy out early on the left.
