Obvious put-in access at a bridge, but there is no legal parking here as it's all private land surrounding the bridge. Arrange a drop off. The run is so short, rotating laps works well. Please don't park up here.
Four drops linked together creating quite an exciting rapid.
White Oak dumps into the Emory, which if White Oak is running properly, could be anywhere from 5,000 to 40,000 cfs! It's a quick few minutes down to the take-out.
Park on the upstream river-left side of the Clifty Creek Road bridge over Clifty Creek, which is approached from Harriman via Riggs Chapel Rd, which winds up the river-right side of the Emory. This take-out is the same for Clifty Creek, as well as the Oakdale to Clifty section of the Emory River.
