Poteau River

A ledge below the dam creates a ledge hole/wave at lower flows (~1500 cfs).  Higher flows (>3500 cfs) create a large wave/hole feature.

Lots of fishermen use this area, so be respectful and watch out for hooks, especially if you flush downstream very far.

Large parking lot next to the river and feature as part of the USCOE and State Park recreation area.
