River Description
Due to the lack of interesting or challenging drops, and the proximity to far more interesting sections of this river, this section is far less often run. None the less, this does make a scenic swiftwater or low-grade whitewater cruise. Unless you catch it at unusually high water, expect most of the rapids to be shallow scrapey rock gardens.
Alongside one stretch of this river you'll find uncharacteristic scree (steep rock-rubble covered banks). If you take a little side-trek here, you'll find an old quarry or mine pit. My first exploration of this section of stream happened mid-summer, whereupon I found this area to be populated with wild blueberries which were just ripe!
