River Description
When the rest of the bayou is flooded, this is the place to go! It has a short shuttle and some of the biggest rapids in the state. It is wider than the sections upstream, but you still have to be on the lookout for strainers. Generally, your biggest concern will be staying out of the holes though. As the level goes up, they just keep getting bigger!

Jump and Kick

This is rapid is just below the putin. It has large breaking waves and the eddy on river left will recirculate you right back to the top wave.
Double Kicker

The center line has a nice wave backed by a steep hole that can't be seen from upstream. Watch out for logs caught on shallow rocks and pick your way around the holes.
Chute Fighter Falls

This rapid is on the left side of the island at the intersection of Toro Bayou and the Toledo Bend Spillway. The rapid cuts through rock on either side of the river and then pushes right. Watch out for big holes and strainers!
