The Lake Creek gauge at base flows that are not good for kayaking (but great for sliding the final slide on your butt). If its over the step (about 8.5') its going to be pushy class V and most locals would not run it with the current wood situation. 7.75' was a great medium flow.

If the step is covered (about 8.5' or higher) its going to be pushy class V and does not get run at those flows commonly.
