River Description
The forest service decommissioned most of the roads after the 1996 floods. The part of Fish creek that is still easily accessible is a class III-IV flush that is good fun and often free of wood.
Paddlers can drive up the paved road until it ends and keep hiking up the decommissioned road until they choose to put in. There are some worthwhile bonus rapids if you decide to hike a ways.

Fish Creek ends at its confluence with the Clackamas River. You can continue on downstream on the Clackamas.

Log in to add a reportShort run on Fish Creek continuing on down on the Clackamas to Carter Bridge with Tom O'Keefe, Bob Mosier, and Zach Collier on Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival Weekend. The Clackamas was flowing at 3300 cfs and this was enough water for Fish Creek.
We were on a tight schedule so only went up as far as you could drive and easily access the creek.
