There is a tree across the whole creek between two surf holes. It's right behind the 1st one.
Great at levels above 1500cfs on Greenville guage. There are a couple of good surf spots. Be careful above the falls, a huge hole forms at a high enough level that can be very sticky.
1900 cfs gauge on Greenville Creek 1 foot on the gauge at painter creek
Had been tubing down this creek for many years never been over the falls until this January we had some snow melt and rain in a few days got some good water. Greenville creek was running 1900 cfs. There is a ft. gauge close to the put in it read 1 ft. I got stuck first run in the ledge above the falls can be sticky. Came back next day everything was washed out hole at bottom of falls didn't look very friendly the creek was at 1 1/2 ft.
Here is a link to the video of the falls

The trees reported in Painter Creek back in November are gone. There was no wood in the run on 23 December.
It is a bit hard to see but this is the first access point below the falls. The drop is a double ledge. I ran it on the left but both sides look good to go.
A typical slide on Painter Creek at low flow.
