River Description
This extremely short stretch (1/4 mile of rapids) is rarely run. According to posts on the Northeast Paddlers' Massage Board, it's not going to be high on your list:
'(T)the general consensus is that its not really worth it.'
'(F)orget wasting the gas to get there. Mother Nature laid a goose-egg for this gorge and boating.'
The section has river-wide sharp ledges and poor water quality. But, hey: it has rapids. If I lived in the area, I'd give it a shot at least once.
Lat/longitude coordinates are a rough SWAG, from descriptions and online maps, to get you in the vicinity.
