River Description
This small creek starts out as almost a ditch but with a huge rain it will be screaming. There are at least two fences above the gorge. You get some small surfing waves for your effort but a shorter run down the gorge might be safer than playing with the private land and fences above it. Once you make a hard bend near an open meadow the streambed will turn to solid rock and the ledges of Cedar Falls will start out in full force. At high flow there are few places to stop so be very careful of trees! This is a good training run for steeper creeks. It is very short so you can run laps and might be able to pick up Mornign Sun Creek at the same time. This is a run most suitable for locals.
