River Description
Water will either come from spill of Grant Lake or release from 'return ditch' downstream. From return ditch to a rock quarry east of Hwy 395, the creek is continuous class III with occasion brush hazards. After the rock quarry is a notable congested class V rapid. Take out here as the creek becomes severely overgrown flatwater downstream. Before the creek reaches Mono Lake, there is a roadside play wave the is formed by the creek pouring out of a tunnel under Test Station Rd. Flow: 200-400 cfs. Season: Spring/Summer
