Typical boulder block on the upper section of Rock Creek, at normal (low) flow. Who knows what this looks like with more water? Thanks to Joseph Morgan for the photo!

This is what the creek looks like just above Great Meadow. It needs a A LOT of rain to go. The creek varies in width from 15 to 40 feet, with strainers not being uncommon in the narrower parts.
