Jacques-Cartier Nord-Ouest

Continuous class IV-V (full of sieves & undercuts) in that huge canyon.

Follow Route 162 then route 16 almost all the way to Petit lac Jacques-Cartier. Head east on an dirt road/path passing along the south side of Lac de l'Ecuyer. Drive in as far as possible; after that it's about a 2 mile hike to the put-in. The 'road' crosses bridge over the river at 47.4128,-71.4817 (do not put on here), continue another 1/10th mile, turn right then go about 1/4 mile to a power line right-of-way. Head south-south-east ~1/5th mile thru the woods, then climb down the cliff to the river. Take-out at Camp 3 in Jacques-Cartier Park.
