A cable running the length of one of the larger boulder gardens.
This was the narrowest part of Taylor Creek Gorge, many other parts of the run have gorge walls also.
A typical scene on Taylor Creek, at low water.
-1' on the unit gauge.
This gauge is located at the take out, on the river left pillar under Galice Rd.
The '0' mark, where the concrete transitions from angled to vertical near the bottom is the minimum enjoyable level. If you are just interested in checking out the gorge and are not as concerned about quality whitewater it has been paddled as low as -3'.
A high water cut-off has not been determine, but high flows would be dangerous.
