Trip Reports
Log in to add a reportI ran this while on vacation. Level was too low according to the info on here, but I managed to get down in my packraft and still have some fun. I imagine starting around the 2000 cfs minimum would be lots of fun. The majority of the flow was river left. River right had some bigger ledges, maybe a few 4' ones and 2-3 at the end. There were a few play waves to catch on the way down. Fun little trip to catch if you're in the area, but was $7 to enter the state park. Would make an interesting longer trip as a bike shuttle run since the New River State Trail goes through here.
