River Description
The lower section is visible from Route 8. A tight steep brook with lots of gradient and a few nice drops.
The takeout is located at the Hague Town Beach which is located near the Route 8/ Route 9N intersection. Take Route 8 uphill and scout the creek. Pull over when you see a parking lot on your left by the bridge. Take the trail upstream and scout the drop.
Continue on 8. Turn right at the fire dept (the real one, not the resturaunt.) onto Route 21/ West Hague Road. Keep scouting as you go. Turn left onto McCoy Road and put in at the bridge.
It will take a good amount of rain to bring this in, but too much water could make strainers a real problem. Historically this stream hasn't had much wood in the lower sections though.
