River Description
This is a unique 'backyard run' running through a rural area and a town a short distance outside the Portland metropolitan area. Most of the run is fast moving class II-III with wood hazards. The run starts out running through a golf course, and ends at a highway.
There are areas of bedrock that produce fun rapids. The largest is near the end of the NF (before the confluence with the main stem of Deep Creek) and is called Peashooter.
A short way below Peashooter is the confluence with Deep Creek and a short distance after that is the take out bridge.
