River Description

Nice bouldery rapids for the first part, a short gorge near the end, then a pleasant runout to the Illinois.

There is a cross-county style hike in where a trail used to exist, the distance is less than a mile and mostly open terrain.

The Illinois @ Kerby running 3,000 cfs and the Elk River [541-332-0405] running at 4.4' was a nice flow for the run.

The crux of Saturation Station on Lawson Creek. The river left wall is heavily saturated and walking on it caused one to sink into it the day the photo was taken.
