River Description
The first campground below Little Orleans is Indigo Neck C&O hiker/biker (1.5 miles below Little Orleans), There is river access at Pearre (4.5 miles below Little Orleans), just below Sideling Hill Creek. The Cacapon river joins the Potomac on the West Virginia side at Great Cacapon and there is a Cacapon Junction C&O hiker/biker campground on the Maryland side (7.3 miles below Little Orleans). Another river access is available at the Cohill Station boat ramp (9.2 miles below Little Orleans). There are two more C&O campgrounds, Leopard Mill (11 miles below Little Orleans) and White Rock (14.4 miles below Little Orleans). Take-out is at the Little Tonoloway Day Use Recreation Area in Hancock, MD (16.5 miles below Little Orleans).
