Beautiful gorge, runs after heavy rain and usually holds water for a couple of days. Window Cliffs Falls is about a twenty-footer you can run the left side or easily portaged on river right. One mile lake paddle at the end. Total it's approximately 7 miles.

Cane Creek from window cliffs road bridge to the lake take out is about six or seven miles. It is phenomenally beautiful and if you look for them you will see window cliff arches at the tops of the ridges from your boat. Most of the run down to Window Cliffs Falls is a class 2+ with little to no flat water. Window Cliffs Falls is easier to portage on river right if you don't want to run the 23 footer. From the falls to the lake is a couple of miles with class 2+ to class 3 rapids. This is a great playboating run at higher levels. -Dave Fulcher
