This is a fun class II+ run through the Glacier Creek gorge to downtown Girdwood.
The Put In is at a Hand Tram across Glacier Creek on the Winner Creek Trail. The Hand Tram itself has been closed since 2020. To reach this crossing, hike 3 miles on the Winner Creek Trail starting at the Alyeska Hotel. Alternatively hike one mile along the Winner Creek Trail from Crow Creek Road.
The Take Out is on river right immediately after the Alyeska Hwy bridge.
