Had to check it out since my dad got some property in Byrdstown. Rain was expected but called off. Gauge read 2.2' when we got on in the morning. Wouldn't have gone based off normal AW recommendations but wanted to get a good look at the run before getting on in higher water. Put in at the 325 Bridge and took out at South Ford Rd Bridge, run took about 4 hours. Where dry creek meets the Wolf is the hairiest rapid. I would argue this is class II+ difficulty with class III consequences due to the foot entrapment nature of the rock river. The water will spit you out of the hydrologic, but this river is loaded with foot sized holes in big rocks and the rocks are sharp like coral. Beautiful run, even at low water. Probably left some expensive blue kayak plastic in the water from dragging so much won't do it any lower than 2.5+. 3 for good flow.

My wife and I did a weekend run down the wolf and it was a fantastic run, but beware of ALOT of wood build up on Ford bridge. It creates a sharp S Turn in the river of wood to avoid both turns pushing you up into the wood. It's doable,  but quite dangerous at any flow below 3.4-3.5 as the logs would be undercut and strainers. If you are not confident paddling or have new paddlers takeout before.

Due to the recent flooding, be cautious of wood accumulation at/near both bridges - Burntmill Ford and S Ford. Recommend scouting due to strainers caught on the bridge piers.
