Chalco Creek
To Holmes River

| Difficulty | IV+ |

At high flows the Chalco features fun whitewater leading up to and following a portage/hard rapid called Cracker Jacks that is near the beginning of the run. Then its continuous pushy water with some sections that let up, and a harder bottom canyon before the creek eases once again to class III down to the Holmes.
The drive up the road was an alder nightmare in 2011, but the run was fun and big.
You've got options, but this area is roughly the standard put-in.
You could take out near the confluence with the Holmes, or continue downstream on the Holmes.
