Note: this is not an 'upper' reach of the 'Little River'. It is the 'Upper Little River'.

According to paddling eastern nc, minimum is 0 and goes up to 3' down river from Ross rd bridge, although rapids are after Titan roberts road. Plenty of rain is needed for the rapids to be in play and you would need to be mindful of the transition to the cape fear which will be much higher level. About 10 sets of rapids after Titan roberts road with 2 or 3 approaching class II and the rest class I. Expect several portages. Once at the Cape Fear river, keep right for easier rapids or left and center for more excitement. Take out is just past a large block of concrete before the bridge.
