Snake

We were passing through along I84 and made another run of this section at a little under 600 cfs.  This time we tried paddling all the way to the logical take out at the downstream end of the park, this was a mistake as the area is fenced in and we had to get creative to get back into the area open to the public.  Avoid this by taking out before the river opens up into a large pool below the rapids.

It would be really cool if there were vehicle access to the take out for this run, but we still thought it was worth the hike.  Level was good for the Auger drops, boney but still fine for kayaks/packrafts in the boulder gardens above.

A fun quick run near Twin Falls. 430 cfs was low for the boulder gardens in the first part of the run, but everything went with minimal boat abuse. This was a clean level throughout the Auger Falls drops, which we found fun and unique at these low flows. The hike out was straight forward along biking trails and a gravel road.
