River Description
A nice stretch of river that runs mostly through farmland in rural Frederick County. There are some nice 100 ft. bluffs and easy class I rapids to keep things interesting. The highlight of this trip is going underneath the historic LeGore Bridge. The most intense rapid (I+/II-) occurs just before the bridge, so all the excitement occurs at once. Outside of that, it's a nice, slow, and meandering start to the 42 mile Monocacy River water trail.
