River Description
The lower cascades of Whatcom Creek are a far distance from the attractive gorge in Whatcom Falls Park. This short piece of urban whitewater is both steep and hazardous. The Downtown Brown is featured in several videos. Be careful as the rapids are packed with potholes.
After the cascades are finished there is a short section of delightful slides and then you will hit the ocean.
