A 4 mile run not far outside the Yosemite Park boundary with relatively easy access for the Sierra's. High clearance is recommended for the shuttle.
The section above the day use area is mostly bouldery rapids, while the section below has more bedrock. Just below the day use area is the marque drop, a fun slide with some avoidable rooster tails.
Downstream of the Dimond O campground a set of fun ledges lead to a short gorge with a class V rapid at the end. Be careful here, at low water (150 cfs) there was an easy to catch, but hidden from upstream view eddy on river-left near the lip of the rapid/horizon. It is unclear if this eddy will be available at higher flows.
The rest of the run is all scoutable and portageable with relative ease, with many fun class IV rapids and a few IV+.
Park at this point on a spur road off of Forest Rd 1532
You will know you reached the river in the right spot if there are a couple nice bedrock slides in the 5-10' range.
Take out using a short trail to access a spur road SE of Abernathy Meadow.

We thought this was a good run with relatively easy access and lots of fun class IV-IV+ rapids. There was a mix of bedrock and bouldery rapids.
