Chatanika River

Low to Medium Flow. Gage Height (water level) from the NOAA Chatanika River at Steese Hwy Bridge was 8.43ft. This was enough water for both waves. More water would be more fun but still a good time. Some wood in water so be mindful of that. Right before the takeout there is a sweeper that at this Gage Height could be ducked by hard boats and packrafts, totally can get out before it and walk around it or just to the takeout.
